Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Clinarix collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible and to keep sensitive health inputs on your device wherever we can.

Clinarix is operated by a sole proprietor based in Vietnam and acts as the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy request you can contact us at support@clinarix.com.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares (such as your name). This is used to create and secure your account.
• Profile data — details you enter to power the calculators, such as age, sex, height, weight, activity level and goals. This is used only to compute your estimates and your Wellness Snapshot.
• Tracker entries — the daily logs you record (for example sleep, macros, workouts). These are stored locally in your browser by default (see the next section).
• Payment data — when you subscribe, Dodo Payments collects and processes your billing details. We receive a confirmation and limited billing metadata (such as plan, status and country) but never your full card number.
• AI queries (Pro+) — if you use AI Wellness Insights, the questions and relevant profile context you submit are processed by our AI provider to generate a response.
• Technical data — basic logs and security information generated automatically when you use the Service (such as IP address and device/browser type) to keep the Service reliable and secure.

Your tracker history and most day-to-day logs are stored in your browser’s local storage — on your device — not on our servers. This means it stays with you and can be cleared at any time from Settings. As a result, this data may not be available on a different device or browser.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including computing your estimates and dashboard;
• Create and secure your account and prevent abuse;
• Process subscriptions and provide customer support;
• Generate AI insights and answers when you choose to use Pro+ features;
• Send transactional emails such as sign-in, account and billing notifications;
• Improve the reliability, safety and quality of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data.

We rely on a small set of trusted providers (sub-processors) to run the Service. Each processes data only as needed to provide their function:

• Dodo Payments — payments, subscription billing and tax, as Merchant of Record;
• Supabase — database and authentication for your account and profile;
• Google — Google sign-in (optional) and the AI model that powers Pro+ analysis;
• Resend — delivery of transactional emails;
• Vercel — application hosting;
• Cloudflare — DNS and content delivery / security.

We share information with these providers only to the extent necessary, and we may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to work — for example to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as light/dark theme). We use local storage to keep your tracker history on your device. We do not use cookies to sell your data.

We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Billing records are retained by Dodo Payments as required for tax and accounting. You can delete your profile and reset your stored history at any time from Settings; when you delete your account, we remove or anonymize the associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly from Settings → profile and history controls, or by emailing support@clinarix.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Because we use globally distributed providers, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) offered by our providers to protect your data when it is transferred internationally.

Clinarix is not directed to children. The Service is intended for adults (18+), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
